Quality Council Award - Local Council Award Scheme 2020

Congratulations to Phillip Woodward and the team of Councillors at Pilsley Parish Council @PilsleyPC @DerbyshireALC.

The Parish Council has taken a further big step along the road of demonstrating the quality of the work it carries out and the way it conducts its business by receiving the Quality Council Award from the National Association of Local Councils (NALC).

The Quality Council Award is the second stage of a three stage process, the first stage being the Foundation Award which the council achieved in 2017.

The Parish Council received the prestigious Quality Award as part of the Local Council Award Scheme. This achievement recognises that the council achieves good practice in governance, community engagement and council improvement. Moreover, the Council is recognised as going above and beyond their legal obligations, leading their communities and continuously seeking opportunities to improve and develop even further.

We are delighted to see Pilsley Parish Council join the select group of our customers that have received an LCAS award.
