We attended the 73rd DALC AGM at the Chesterfield Football Club today.
The official business was followed with a talk by Peter McCrea member of the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber), based at the Royal Courts of Justice in London.
Following Peter's presentation the results of the DALC Excellence Awards were announced.

We had a great day at the YLCA conference held on Friday 13th September at the Mercure Fairfield Manor Hotel in Skelton, York.
The day started at 10:00am and included fascinating presentations from Waverley Community Council and Barlby & Osgodby Town council on innovative community projects they'd worked on. There was a lovely sit down lunch followed by an afternoon of workshops.

The LRALC held it's first AGM on Saturday, 15th June 2019. This is the first AGM since becoming a limited company on 23rd April last year. The event was held at County Hall in Glenfield, Leicestershire and was well attended.

Amy moved on to pastures new at the start of the year. She now works for Dunelm and is sadly missed, we wish her every success in the new job. Hampshire County Council has recently had to apologise after mistakenly publishing a notice on their website stating that Prince Philip had died in what has been blamed on an "internal error."
