New Northants CALC Website

Danny Moody, CEO said:

"Northants CALC had a homemade (WordPress) website, which was OK but a bit limited in its expandability. Northants CALC chose to implement a new web site with 2commune to be able to benefit from new features in the future. 2commune are specialists in the sector and so understand our market well. The feedback from our member councils has been very positive".

Connecting Local Councils in Northamptonshire

Connecting Local Councils in Northamptonshire

We are working with Northants CALC to deliver this exciting project in Northamptonshire.

NN One is a project aimed at increasing the capacity of Local Councils in Northamptonshire. New technology will enable local councils to become more efficient and effective. All tiers of authorities will benefit from improved communications and information provision.

NN One will replicate the proven 'Leicestershire Model' which joins up websites and back end systems across the three tiers of local government.

UKLC will be at the Northants CALC AGM

UKLC will be at the Northants CALC AGM

Posted: Mon, 15 Oct 2012 14:35 by Tim Heeley

We've been invited to attend the Northamptonshire County Association of Local Councils AGM which is being held in the Saxon Hall at Raunds on Saturday 20th October.

This will be an opportunity to promote and explain the UK Local Councils (UKLC) IT platform which has been developed to equip local councils with the tools and knowledge to deliver high quality, online information and services to the communities that they serve.

The full functionality of UKLC is to be seen at work in Leicestershire. Here's an example, from Hoton in the North of Leicestershire, of the joined-up A-Z Services combining local, district and county council services. The planning applications page at Anstey shows how undecided applications can be seen in adjoining districts around the parish (district boundaries are shown in red on the map).
